Your Biggest Questions
You deserve to have your questions answered before investing in your Interior Painting project.
Why is there a wide range of prices between contractors?
The biggest factors of price are value and quality.
A lower-cost project won't last the length that a higher-cost project will. When you pay a higher cost, you invest in durable, lasting work.
What is included in the cost?
Some factors of the cost of Interior Painting are labor, including a detailed prep work process, high-quality products and materials, the number of coats of paint, and moving furniture to the middle of the room.
What could increase the cost?
Some factors that could increase the cost of your project are drywall repairs, removing wallpaper, painting woodwork and not walls, and accent walls.
What are some ways to get the cost down?
To get the cost down, 1. you can choose to remove all the furniture from the room before we begin or 2. choose a color that is the same or very similar to the previous color.
Do you remove or install wallpaper?
We do remove wallpaper. We do not install new wallpaper.
Will there be any surprise charges during my project?
The estimate you are given is the price you can expect to pay. If any unexpected repairs are found, or you decide to have us do additional work, a change order will be created. We will not add anything on without your approval.
When can we start the project?
Typically we can start in your home approximately 3 to 5 weeks after proposal acceptance. Some factors that may increase or decrease the start date include the quantity and scope of work already scheduled, the color selection process, material shipments, and previously scheduled customers pushing back their start date.
How long would the project take?
On average, a project will be completed in about a week. Smaller jobs will only take a day or two, while a whole house repaint could take 2-3 weeks.
What if I don't know what color I want?
No worries! We know this can be a tough choice. Because of that, we offer a 1-hour color consultation with our Interior Painting services so that you can be comfortable and confident in your decisions.
Is prep work really necessary?
The short answer: yes. Any surface needs a solid foundation before applying products.
