Your Biggest Questions about Deck Staining
Do you stain wooden fences, pergolas, or playgrounds?
Yes! With the same process as staining a wooden deck, fences, pergolas, and playground structures can be stained and brought back to life.
Will there be any unexpected charges I have to pay?
The estimate you are given is the price you can expect to pay. If any unexpected repairs are found, or you decide to have us do additional work, a change order will be created. We will not add anything on without your approval.
When can you start on my deck?
Typically we can start in your home approximately 3 to 6 weeks after proposal acceptance. Some factors that may affect the start date include the quantity and scope of work already scheduled, the color selection process, material shipments, and of course, our unpredictable Nebraska weather!
How long does a deck staining project take?
Deck projects usually take about 3-4 days. This depends on how much staining it takes to get your deck to your preferred color. Some decks require extra prep work and staining, while others do not require as much.
The timing can also depend on the weather. Moisture and temperature can greatly affect the finish results of stains. We are not able to work while it has been or is raining, or when temperatures fall below 35 degrees or above 100 degrees.
No matter the situation, we have a thorough process from detailed prep work to careful stain application and can finish your project as soon as possible.
