Each painting company has its go-to process and products for Exterior Painting. A lower price will reflect a lower quality process and products. The opposite holds for a company with a higher price.

While some companies are finishing up after a few days of spraying, with Brush & Roll Painting, in the first few days we will still be working on preparing the home to paint.

Some factors of the cost of Exterior Painting are the labor of a detailed prep work process that includes power-washing, repairing siding and wood (if needed), caulking, and protecting windows and doors with tape and plastic. 

The cost also includes high-quality products and materials, and the number of coats of paint.

If your home was built before the late 70's, your quote will be two to three times the normal amount due to lead paint. Lead paint poses serious health risks and needs to be handled cautiously.

Another factor that could increase the cost is siding repairs. Surfaces must be properly repaired before painting to not cause further damage. 

Yes! We do provide power washing as a service on its own, as well as the first step of our Exterior Painting process.

To get the cost down, you can choose a color that is the same or very similar to the previous color that is on the house.

The estimate you are given is the price you can expect to pay. If any unexpected repairs are found, or you decide to have us do additional work, a change order will be created. We will not add anything on without your approval.

Typically we can start in your home approximately 3 to 6 weeks after proposal acceptance. Some factors that may affect the start date include the quantity and scope of work already scheduled, the color selection process, material shipments, and of course, our unpredictable Nebraska weather!

Exterior projects usually take about 1-2 weeks to complete. We have a thorough process from detailed prep work to careful paint application.

Some factors that adjust the timeline include the size of the project, weather conditions, prep work, siding or trim repairs, garage doors, entrance details, shutters, trim, and doors.
