Smaller kitchens
A kitchen of this size ranges from 30 to 40 linear feet of base units and 20 to 30 doors and drawer fronts. Refinishing the cabinets in a smaller kitchen will range from $3,000 to $5,000. One thing to keep in mind is, any additional glazing or antiquing techniques will add an additional 35% to these prices, but gives a unique, one-of-a-kind finish.
Mid-sized kitchens
A kitchen of this size ranges from 40 to 65 linear feet of base units and 30 to 45 doors and drawer fronts. An estimated cabinet refinish cost for medium sized kitchens will run from $4,000 to $6,000. Again, any additional glazing will add an additional 35%.
Larger kitchens
A kitchen of this size ranges from 65 or more linear feet of base units and 45 or more doors and drawer fronts. For a kitchen that falls into the large category, you can expect to pay $6,000 and up, with an additional 35% if you choose to include glazing.
